On the bank of the Guadalquivir, on the edge of the. Built in the th century under the reign of Alphonse XI, he housed the court of the Catholic Kings for a few years and became the headquarters of the Inquisition. In a few rooms open to the public, you can see a remarkable th century sarcophagus and Roman mosaics, and discover Arab baths. The ensemble also exhibits some temporary art exhibitions. Beautiful view of the city from the walls.

J'ai adoré !!! Cet Alcazar est magnifique et particulièrement ses jardins. Nous y avons passé plusieurs heures tellement nous nous y sentions bien. Je vous le conseille vivement ! Une visite à ne pas rater ! Et le prix est assez dérisoire (4.5€) contrairement à celui de Séville par exemple.

Si vous avez déjà visité l'Alcazar de Séville, celui-ci vous paraitra moins impressionnant et intéressant. Les jardins sont toutefois très jolis et vous permettrons de faire une très agréable promenade. L'intérieur n'a que peut d'intérêt à l'exception de la vue qui vous est offerte du haut des tours.

Superbes jardins et architecture qui permet de nous perdre dans la rêverie pendant 1h. Le dépaysement est total! Conseillé au printemps pour profiter des fleurs et arbres verdoyants.
