Fourth generation craftsmen, the Cerezo brothers keep the Andalusian know-how alive with the elaboration of silver jewelry, designed in their workshops. The methods used date back to the 10th century with the Califal filigree technique, inspired by the decoration of the Great Mosque of Cordoba and the city of Madinat-Al Zahara. The pieces are elaborated in solid silver, and are covered with a thin layer of white gold. Plateria Califal has been declared a place of tourist interest by the City Council of Cordoba and by local institutions.
