CUEVAS AL JATIB
Terrace accommodation in a relaxing, casual and intimate atmosphere in Baza.
Since 2024, Carmen has been in charge of this real gem of a troglodyte hotel, featuring magnificent, tastefully appointed caves, a hammam (also accessible to non-residents), a Moorish tea room and a bar-restaurant serving Arabo-Andalusian cuisine. On the accommodation side, there's a restful, relaxed and intimate atmosphere, with six beautiful guest caves of varying sizes with fully-equipped kitchens, four charming bedrooms, a communal lounge with fireplace, a superb terrace and a small sauna. These cuevas, dug out first by the Moors and then by local farmers, are rather unusual, being whitewashed every year to allow the clay to breathe. Couscous and tajines, as well as vegetarian dishes, can be enjoyed on the pleasant terrace, which boasts fine views over Baza and its sierra. An address to remember for a truly atypical Andalusian stay, with outdoor swimming pool at your disposal.

Estuvimos dentro en una cueva/apartado pequeñito pero acogedor, además la ventaja fue que tenía una terracita y pudimos salir un ratito a la hora del café.
