ALHAMBRA PALACE * * * * *
Moorish style hotel with one hundred and fifteen rooms and eleven suites of great comfort with impeccable old school service
Built in 1910 and inaugurated by Alfonso XIII, this Moorish-style hotel on the Alhambra hill is like a large Unesco-listed showpiece set high above the city. This Palace, frequented by an international clientele, offers one of the most fabulous views of Granada and the Sierra Nevada. Renovated in 2012, the imposing fortress, with its 115 rooms and 11 suites, offers great comfort and impeccable old-school service. The reception rooms are superb, and the royal suite is worthy of an Arabian palace. The Alhambra Palace's location makes it easy to stroll to the Alhambra and the Paseo de los Martires, including Manuel de Falla's Casa Museo. As for the restaurant, it serves fine cuisine of the day, with the added bonus of a terrace with a breathtaking view and a less formal section for a more economical summer menu. And if you're just in for a drink, the cocktail menu offers plenty of options.
