This convent, founded by Isabelle the Catholic (she was buried there before the Royal Chapel achevement), is certainly the dream place to stay in Granada. However, in addition to its high price, this parador (inaugurated in 1945) has a major disadvantage: Six to seven months in advance to have the chance to sleep in one of its thirty-six rooms in the very heart of the Alhambra. Luxurious but not very large, the rooms are divided between two sections, a history with wonderful patio, the other more recent with marble floors. The gardens that communicate with those of the Magnificent Alhambra include the terrace of the restaurant of good taste serving a delicious Andalusian cuisine inspired by the Orient (habas fritas, rape/burbot has the mozarabic con piñones and rich and succulent cujado del Albaycín with dessert almonds).
Le menu nazari était très bon avec plusieurs plats à déguster, prix raisonable.
Ambiance très douce. Après le repas petite ballade dans le beau jardin du restaurant donnant sur une terrasse avec vue sur el albayzin et jardin de l'alhambra
