DEL AGUILA AQUEDUCT

Lying on the river Maro and above the precipice called the Barranco de la Coladilla, this aqueduct del águila - «of the eagle» - was built in the th century by the local masterpiece, Francisco Cantarero, with the aim of supplying a former sugar plant. In perfect condition, it consists of four floors of superimposed arches and on its upper side, entrance flags and a central pavilion.
