Very romantic hotel with restaurant, spa and pool offering a beautiful view of the serrania in Ronda.
Dating back to the beginning of the last century, this very romantic hotel benefited from a complete renovation in 2012, during a change of ownership. Just what it needed. Perched on the cliff, it has retained its racy British style and some of the cachet of the era when it was frequented by poet Rainer Maria Rilke. Most of the ninety-five elegant, modern rooms offer marvellous views over the Serrania . The hotel's main attractions are its gardens (3,000 m²), terraces, spa and swimming pool, where you can also enjoy a magnificent view of the Serrania from the Azahar restaurant. If you're not staying at the hotel, you can visit the Azahar restaurant, which will give you a first glimpse of the majesty of the place.
La carta del bar tiene una comida de calidad media baja. Y el servicio iba corriendo.
El desayuno buffet está bastante bien en variedad y calidad. Podrían mejorar el café. Aunque el croissant es de los mejores que he probado.
El personal de recepción es amable. Aunque pedimos sugerencias de donde comer o visitar fuera de ronda y no tenían muchas ideas.
Lo malo del hotel es el precio. Creo que no vale lo que pagamos 230€ por noche.
2 Sterne Abzug gibt es für den Wellness Bereich der auf 1h pro Gast und Tag limitiert ist und (je nach Zimmerart) 15€ pro Person und Tag extra kostet (ohne Behandlungen versteht sich). Das entspricht nicht dem Anspruch den das Hotel vorgibt zu haben und auch nicht dem Übernachtungspreis. Der Wellnessbereich umfasst übrigens einen Whirlpool und eine Sauna für je 2-3 Personen und sage und schreibe sechs Liegen.
