Strategically located between the Cervantes theatre and Plaza de la Merced, this small-room hotel is ideally situated, close to major attractions such as the trendy bars and restaurants of the capital of the Costa del Sol. Inaugurated in 2005, the Hotel Del Pintor is a small urban boutique hotel combining modern design, technology and personalized attention. The original decoration, designed by the former owner, Pepe Bornoy, a painter, poet and major multidisciplinary artist in Málaga, is based on red, white and black. His works, sometimes always sensual, transform the hotel into an exclusive and avant-garde space where art is perceptible in all its spaces. On the edge of a patio with drinks, the comfortable rooms are varied with plasma screen TV. Some of the interior may be more quiet (although smaller) than some outside of the street, but sometimes have some humidity (see the ground floor). The rooms are equipped with shower and toilet. In bonus, a multilingual reception staff, rather friendly and available, can facilitate the booking of tickets to monuments and shows, a free service painter with fax, Internet and photocopies as well as the day press and local tourist information.
