It is held in honor of the patron saint of Osuna, San Arcadio, who was martyred in Caesarea during the reign of Emperor Trajan.
These festivities are organized in honor of the patron saint of the city of Osuna, San Arcadio, who was martyred in Caesarea during the reign of Emperor Trajan. His statue will be carried in a procession from his hermitage and then through the main streets of the city. Procession punctuated in fine by a fireworks display starting at 10 pm. Throughout the day, you can taste the Gachas del Santo, cheese cakes, the great specialty of the city. Sports competitions and other activities prepare the festival during the previous weekend.
