It is one of the largest churches in Seville and also an architectural example of the Baroque style, emblematic of the city. Inside, its murals, works by Lucas de Valdés and Clemente de Torres, its main altarpiece (early 18th century), second in size only to that of the Cathedral, and also the paintings in the side chapels are noteworthy: Saint Dominic in Soriano and The Miraculous Healing of Blessed Reginald of Orleans, painted by Francisco de Zurbarán, as well as several paintings by Juan de Valdés Leal.
