CASA DEL MAESTRO *
Charming hotel with colorful rooms, 2 of which have a patio/terrace and one is accessible for people with reduced mobility
The "Maestro" is Niño Ricardo (1904-1972), a great name of the Flamenca guitar, and the eleven rooms of this charming hotel are dedicated to its greatest works: Tierra Minera, Nostalgia Flamenca… Located near the plazas of los Terceros and Ponce de León, in a renamed alleyway in his name and whose tranquility is disturbed only by the bells of a nearby church marking the hours, the good house belongs today to the master's grandsons. Modern enough with a patio evoking the resonance of a guitar, Casa del Maestro has a decoration with respect for the Andalusian tradition: typical tiles, beautiful earthquakes and even a torero costume that belonged to El Cordobés. The rooms (7 superior and 4 standards, two with patio/terrace and one accessible for disabled guests) are colorful and include air conditioning and TV. For the coffee break or aperitif, we go to the terrace from which the view of the roofs is appreciable.
For a hotel to truly describe itself as “boutique” it needs more than simply to have been the home of a famous flamenco guitarist. It needs a total refresh, sadly!
Historical building, used to be home to a famous local musiciant. Good location as everything is just a walk away and not too far from the airport.
Air-conditioning, spanish breakfast and roof terrace.
