LE PLAN D'EAU

Less than 3,5 km from the centre of the village, the Eau-le-Vieux water plan covers hectares. Appreciated by bathers and fishermen (pike), it is one of the few water areas in the department. A beach is set up, benefiting residents of the La Chanterelle campground and tourists passing through. In the heart of Parc Livradois-Forez, it is pleasant to walk in the surrounding woods (fir, spruce, butchery) or simply enjoy the picnic area on the lake. The water plan was created by the municipality in the 1970 s for the needs of an industry. Today only dedicated to tourism, it is certified Respirando (activities of full nature in the department).
