PATATATE CELLAR

The coral being calcareous, water infiltrations have created several caves in this part of the island. Rich in beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, the Patate cave is interesting although not very well presented - no lighting or deck. Come with your flashlight or follow the guide's one and leave all hope of scientific gloss outside: in the chiaroscuro of the Patate cave, only imagination and poetry prevail, that's the charm of the walk! The traverse is 600 m long and the ceiling of the highest room reaches 25 m.
