Building on the success of L'Atelier Gourmand, Port Mathurin's finest restaurant, Frenchman Romain has opened this Creole cuisine restaurant, which aims to be simpler, more local, accessible without a reservation, with cuisine only on the slate - a little like the less expensive but equally qualitative bistros attached to a "renowned" restaurant. Here, you can enjoy dishes from Rodrigues' street food scene in the comfort of a bright room with a charmingly mismatched decor. At the entrance, you'll find a small store selling well-sourced local culinary products.
