Set on the waterfront with a breathtaking view of the Mahébourg lagoon and Vieux Grand Port bay, Chill Pill is the quintessential Creole auberge: a friendly welcome, service that does its best, a small number of units all with air-conditioning (7 double rooms, one quadruple room, a bungalow for 4 and a thatched cottage), a waterfront restaurant, an infinity pool and Jacuzzi, a lovely site. We're in the heart of Mahébourg, not far from the bus station and market, in a local atmosphere with local staff.

Only things to keep in mind:
1. It has very limited parking space and sometimes we had to park our cars outside as it got filled up very quickly.
2. They are very strict about timings. There will be noone at reception after 7-8 pm and it came to us as a cultural shock. So, do inform them in advance if you will be checking in late or else you’ll be stuck.
