Located on the waterfront with a breathtaking view of the Mahébourg lagoon and the bay of Vieux Grand Port, Chill Pill is the quintessential Creole hostel: a friendly welcome, a service that does its best, a small number of units all with air conditioning (7 double rooms, one quadruple room, a bungalow for 4 and a thatched cottage), a restaurant with its feet in the water, an infinity pool and its Jacuzzi, and a beautiful site. We are in the heart of Mahébourg, not far from the bus station and the market, in a local atmosphere with a local staff. True.

Super schönes Guest-house, der Ort und Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir hatten ein schönes sauberes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Besitzer und Personal immer höflich und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter.

Lovely place by the water with a friendly welcome and a helpful team. The normal breakfast was nice and they made the effort to make us a breakfast to have early in the morning before our flight. Our room with a sea view was right on the water with a view of the sunrise which would have been a treat if it wasn't cloudy. Very easy to get to the airport in the morning with our hire car.

Nous sommes restés quatre nuits dans ce petit hôtel. Notre chambre avec balcon vue mer était joliment décorée, propre et suffisamment spacieuse. Nous avons apprécié avoir une bouilloire et un petit frigo dans la chambre. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux, copieux et variés. Le personnel est très gentil. Nathalie, la propriétaire, est de bons conseils pour les visites. Nous avons pris le bateau avec un pêcheur ( demander à Nathalie) : c'était super !
Nous recommandons cette guest house qui est à 15 minutes de l'aéroport.
