Elegant witness of an architectural heritage that is becoming more and more rare, built in 1830 by Edmond de Chazal, here is one of the most beautiful colonial houses of Mauritius, both vast and confidential. Composed of five bedrooms, as many bathrooms, a large living room (and all its trinkets, paintings, carpets ...), a games room and reading, the house is surrounded by a superb circular veranda which opens onto a masterly garden. It is a unique opportunity, for a stopover or a few nights, to live a timeless experience.

Excellent restaurant, cadre colonial magnifiquement préservé, tout en ayant le confort moderne. Les plats sont savoureux, et le service excellent.

Le jardin est magnifique et l'endroit paisible à l'écart des foules. L'ancienne demeure peut être visitée .
Nous n'avons pas dormi dans une des 4 chambres d'hôtes, seulement pris un excellent repas. Dommage que le carpaccio de thon soit nappé de sauce salade , un petit mélange citronné aurait mieux convenu à mon sens..
Le reste du repas était très bien.

Truly superb. Old style service and settings. Meals excellent. Table setting and overall attention a step above the rest. Surroundings unique gardens with original home on display, now used for guest rooms.

The restaurant and house is spectacular. Great ambience. The food was mediocre but we had a fun evening.
