Church with a small red shingled roof facing a beautiful view of the lagoon and the northern islets

It's on every brochure for Mauritius. Set on the northern tip of the island, between the coastal road and the sea, its small red-shingled roof faces a superb panorama of the lagoon and the northern islets. Don't hesitate to enter, the interior is well worth a look: cute little windows, a painted wooden frame supporting three large fans, a rough stone altar, and a holy-water font (the basin) which is nothing other than a holy-water font (the mollusc). Exoticism and pretty photos guaranteed, especially if you happen to drop in during mass.

La petite église Notre -Dame-Auxiliatrice avec son toit rouge , situé face au lagon a beaucoup de charme et mérite le détour. L'endroit est beau et paisible.

Magnifique endroit ! La contraste entre le toit rouge de l'eglise et l'eau turquoise du lagon est absolument eblouissante, avec en prime la vue degagee sur les iles du Nord dont le coin de Mire.

Cette charmante petite église est très connue mais cela vaut la peine d'y aller. L'endroit est très beau, évidemment très photogénique et assez fréquenté: la lumière est fin de journée permet de faire de très belles photos qui enrichiront votre album à coup sûr.
