Nous y avons passé 2 nuits. C'était magnifique, la décoration sublime, la piscine super belle, le petit-déjeuner est beaucoup trop bon. Le Best : les hôtes, car ils prennent le temps de nous donner pleins de conseils sur les activités à faire aux alentours, ils sont hyper accueillants et d'une gentillesse incommensurable ????

Incroyable sur tous les plans : un magnifique cadre et des chambres somptueuses s’accompagnent d’un service de qualité et hautement chaleureux. Merci à Antoine et son équipe pour tous les conseils, pour avoir été aux petits soins avec nous et pour avoir rendu notre séjour à The Good Life aussi agréable !

Un lieu chaleureux et à taille humaine pour découvrir l'île Maurice ! ????????????
Pour nous ressourcer, l'hôtel The Good Life était parfait ! Le cadre est verdoyant et paradisiaque, les bungalows confortables et intimistes (avec un super hamac ????), la piscine particulièrement agréable et les repas proposés savoureux.
Sans oublier l'ensemble du staff particulièrement accueillant et d'une grande disponibilité ????. Merci à Antoine et Estelle pour ce séjour, et pour toutes les suggestions de randonnées, restaurants et guides qui nous ont également ravis.

Nous recommandons à 100% cet hôtel où nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Estelle, Antoine et tout le personnel sont aux petits soins avec chacun des clients, et donnent de leur temps pour des conseils et bonnes adresses. Cadre intimiste (huit chambres) et verdoyant, le calme règne. Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse où le moindre détail a été pensé. Très bon petit déj. Possibilité de déjeuner (pas de dîner). A 10 min de voiture des restos et bars de Grand Baie. Bref, foncez !

Wir hatten einen wahnsinnig tollen Aufenthalt hier. Das Frühstück ist ein Gedicht, der Pool und der Garten wunderschön angelegt, die Zimmer mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Antoine und seine Frau sind unglaublich sympathisch, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Antoine macht sich sogar den Aufwand jedem Gast Restaurantempfehlungen und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen per Whats App zur Verfügung zu stellen. Auch beim Frühstück hat er sich immer Zeit für uns genommen und sich nach unseren Plänen erkundigt und ggf. Vorschläge oder Tipps gegeben. Schade, dass wir nur 3 Nächte hier gebucht haben, das war der einzige Fehler, den wir hier gemacht haben. Wenn wir nochmal nach Mauritius kommen, zu 100% wieder zu Antoine!

What a lovely spot! Meat free breakfasts available until 3pm. We had the most delicious juices, coffee and breakfast. The pink avocado pancake was amazing! Will definitely be back.

We popped in for a healthy drink and to check out the accommodation for family and friends. We were hugely impressed with the friendly staff, quaint accommodation and well-manicured gardens. The menu is very healthy and creative. A really lovely venue with relaxing music. We will definitely be back.

Une expérience inoubliable dans cet hôtel de charme. Tout était parfait l'accueil exceptionnel, le personnel d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité remarquable, le cadre enchanteur et les très bon conseils d'Antoine. Un grand merci à toutes et tous.

Stayed here 3 nights while exploring the northern tip of Mauritius with my partner,
This place is absolutely outstanding in all aspects from check in through to check out.
First of all Pictures don't do the place justice, you have to most definitely see it for yourself!
The rooms are perfectly set out and have everything you need, a nice touch was rooms have not only a large towel for the absolutely stunning pool area but also separate towels you can take out on any trips to the beach, theres also a yoga mat in there if you are that way inclined.
The pool and Gardens are absolutely beautiful and most certainly gives you that luxury and relaxing feeling when spending time there.
Breakfast is another highlight and everything cooked to order. Try the french toast, you wint be disappointed!!!
Brunch is also served if you wish to have at an additional charge, the menu has more choice and its worth it if you indulge.
The host Antoine is not only as friendly as they come but also extremely helpful and informative, greets you with a nice welcome drink and he will answer any questions you have and even show you on the map places to see in the surrounding area, even gives you a few tips on good places to eat and people to contact for trips or excursions you may be interested in.
I've always found that smaller boutique hotels like this always have far more to offer than larger hotels and make your experience that bit more special and individual.
All in all a fantastic place to stay!

A hidden gem in the North of Mauritius! We are so glad to have been recommended this place by a friend. The setting is beautiful and tranquil, with an excellent garden cafe for breakfast and lunch, as well as a private pool area for guests. The staff are all very friendly and gave us great recommendations while we were there. The freshly prepared breakfasts were the best we had during our stay!

Une semaine géniale dans cet hôtel de charme - cadre enchanteur, bien situé, un petit déjeuner à tomber. Nous avons apprécié le confort et l'hospitalité. Tout le monde a été super gentil. Un grand merci à Antoine pour les bons conseils et bonnes adresses ! Nous recommandons - et espérons y retourner un jour (si j'arrive à récupérer la recette des pancakes.....)

Que dire sur THE GOOD LIFE ?
Un merveilleux séjour en juin 23, nous avons séjourné 2 nuits. Un véritable havre de paix à quelques pas de Cap malheureux.
Nous avons immédiatement étaient séduites par l’ambiance zen que véhicule ce charmant établissement.
Soucieux de l’environnement, chaque détail pour cette cause est réfléchi mis en avant. Un grand BRAVO.
Chez THE GOOD LIFE vous serez bien loin, de ces « hôtels/usines à la chaîne et des petits déjeuners buffets à volonté. » ici c’est la qualité avant la quantité. ☀️????????

Tolles kleines Hotel. Das Hotel ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Es hat "nur" 8 Zimmer um einen sehr ruhigen, schön gestaltetem Garten mit einem Pool. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und man sieht, dass hier ein Traum gelebt wird.
Das Besitzerpaar ist nett und hilft einem bei der Restaurantsuche und gibt viele Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten / Aktivitäten.
Das Restaurant hatte bei uns leider nur am Morgen zum Frühstück offen. Diese war jedoch ein Traum. Sehr liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckte richtig gut.
Kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Idéalement situé à côté de l'église du Cap Malheureux, à proximité du spot de Kite Surf et de très belles plages, ce boutique hôtel a été un havre de paix pour finir notre séjour à l'Ile Maurice. Antoine et son épouse sont très bienveillants, disponibles et à l'écoute pour nous conseiller dans l'organisation de notre séjour. Le petit déj est excellent, sain et plein de couleur (adeptes aux gourmands également, le pain perdu au caramel au beurre salé saura vous donner le sourire dès le matin). Les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût et de charme, la piscine est très belle. Pour finir, le personnel est d'une très grande gentillesse. Je recommande sans hésiter!

Very nicely located, all touristic attractions at north are easily accessible. Staff is very friendly. Antoine, the hotel manager, is very helping and always gives you ideas on what to do where to go etc. I was very happy at our stay , wanna come back again.

Un petit hôtel de charme tout près de l église de Cap malheureux. Chambre très confortable face à une jolie piscine dans un écrin de verdure avec plein d oiseaux et de libellules. Petit déjeuner à la carte délicieux. Merci au propriétaire pour son acceuil. On ne manquera pas de revenir !

A little piece of Heaven on Earth!
We stayed at The Good Life for 5 nights and it was nothing but perfect!
This place is so beautiful, calm, relaxing and cozy. You feel welcome from the very first moment. The hosts - as well as all the other staff - are extremely friendly and helpful, giving you so much good information and tips at any time! Thank you so much for that! The rooms are just lovely, especially the superior rooms right at the poolside. The pool area is wonderful, full of plants, birds and dragonflies. We loved that the Good Life is so small, this makes you feel like home. Breakfast was great and so different to breakfast in bigger hotels – everything is being freshly and lovingly prepared for you. Whenever we visit Mauritius again, we will definitely come back to get lost in this paradise!

Merci à Antoine et son épouse pour leur accueil et leur hospitalité. Le séjour était parfait et ils nous ont beaucoup aidé pour trouver les bonnes choses à faire autour de cap Malheureux.
De plus, l'hotel est propre, chaleureux et idéalement situé. Il est aussi en contraste avec les gros resorts autour. Ce qui est vraiment bien si vous recherchez quelque chose de plus simple et authentique.

- Super Internet (auch für Video Calls, wir mussten arbeiten und hatten wichtige Meetings - hat alles geklappt!)

Don’t hesitate to stay here if you are going to Mauritius! This is a beautiful spot, full of wonderful plants and greenery and is very well maintained. The hosts/owners and the other staff are all very friendly and accommodating. They were extremely welcoming and helpful, taking the time to provide many tips and explaining more about the island. The included breakfast was delicious, and (depending on what you get!) very healthy. I loved the north of Mauritius, and this was really not far from anything, and there are terrific beaches and water access nearby. Having a car is very helpful though to appreciate all the island has to offer! The eco-friendly atmosphere was great, although my only (minor) complaint was about rule re: air conditioning usage during the day. I get it, but Mauritius is hot and humid, but it seemed fine and I of course turned it off when I left for the day. The internet was occasionally inconsistent as times (I had to switch networks a few times) but overall worked fine. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable, with nice and thoughtful touches. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay!

I have never stayed in an Eco resort before and was worried about what sacrifices this would entail. However, was spoiled... I have stayed at some great hotels and resorts around the world and have to say I was very impressed by the level of service and care that the team provided. nothing seemed to much effort, The breakfast was outstanding and the room had everything that I needed. Sadly, the kitchen was closed in the evenings but there are places within walking distance nearby. I was only there for a couple of days (work) but will make sure I book again if I ever come back.

Par où commencer?
Le gérant, ainsi que le personnel étaient adorables, à l’écoute, plein de conseils, vraiment une équipe au top !
Le lieu : juste WOW, un petit cocon à l’écart de l’agitation, un cadre verdoyant, une piscine propre et magnifique, avec un petit coin à poisson et une fontaine.
La chambre aussi était parfaite, nous avions opté pour “la plus petite” mais qui est largement suffisante et qui contient tout ce dont vous avez besoin.
Et sans parler des petits déjeuners/brunch - toit est excellent.
Si vous cherchez l’endroit parfait pour vous reposer, ne cherchez plus vous l’avez trouvé !
