Charming establishment with two courtyards with pools, armchairs, bar-restaurant at Pointe aux Cannoniers

A 20-minute walk from Mont Choisy beach, in a quiet residential area, this charming establishment has been renovated by Sarah and Jean-Pierre, the charming French owners. We love the homely feel, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the breakfast and the Creole dishes, and the spa treatments... On a human scale, the guesthouse has 11 comfortable air-conditioned rooms, and two pretty tree-lined courtyards with swimming pool, lounges and bar, making it a pleasant port of call in the evening after visiting the island during the day.

Nous avons profité du bar et du restaurant. Les cocktails sont excellents et à des tarifs très corrects. L’établissement est très charmant. Nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant. Bon service. Superbe soirée accompagnée en musique avec du jazz au saxo.

Un grand MERCI à nos hôtes ! Les petits déjeuners sont généreux ( pain excellent) tables fleuries et chambre confortable ! Bonne continuation !!

Peut-être par mal chance mais nous sommes tombés sur une chambre très petite avec finitions décevantes , un bon coup de peinture propre ferait du bien ..
La cuve des toilettes aurait besoin d’un détartrage puissant …
La douche en adéquation avec le reste , siphon bouché…
La climatisation transpire sur le mur ..
Et pour finir plus 1 heure après notre commande, pour commencer à manger …
En vacance ou pas, on est dans les îles mais tout de même , on a connu beaucoup mieux dans la même fourchette qualité / prix sur Maurice.
Tellement déçue.
Dommage, on passera notre chemin la prochaine fois .

Sous le Badamier war unser erster Aufenthalt auf unserer Mauritius Rundreise. Die Gastgeber und das Personal waren sehr freundlichund haben uns viele Tipps für Unternehmungen geben können. Die Unterkunft ist strategisch gut zwischen Cap Malheureux und Trou aux Biches gelegen, so dass man Grand Baie und alle umliegenden Strände auch ohne Mietwagen erkunden kann. Wir haben unseren Mietwagen deshalb erst einen Tag vor der Weiterreise entgegengenommen.

What a lovely couple that runs this place. Both of them, Jean-Pierre and Sarah, and their staff are so friendly, willing, and eager to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. We enjoyed the energetic, kind service of Jessen so much. Slept in a beautiful, comfortable room. Basic free breakfast, but the lady was fast and considerate, stocking the buffet table. Fully stocked bar with great service. Loved the ambiance of this cozy place. Took lots of selfies.
