Contrary to the new concepts that emerge here and there as the island develops, it is a popular restaurant as it has existed everywhere in Mauritius for decades: no real search for style in the decoration, but clean, cheap and generous in the welcome as well as in the plate. The team knows all about Creole, Chinese and European specialities, here served in copious and well simmered portions: fried mines, fish stew, grilled camarons, shrimps, curries... and a famous upside down bowl.
