Located on the harbor, this tourist and commercial center is the oldest in Mauritius, and still the most pleasant and vibrant, where artists exhibit their work and craftsmen share their know-how: a lively, fluid and airy place in the heart of the capital's bustle. The various buildings, linked by pedestrian walkways, house no fewer than 150 boutiques selling local and international brands, a Craft Market and dozens of restaurants, bars, street food stalls... Also: museum, aquarium, casino, cinemas, Arts Center, hotels.

We went there on a Friday for a quick dinner bite. No appetizing food inside the food court, almost empty and lots of sailormen sometimes quite frightening, loud music at the next mall, etc. It's no more the same some years ago
