AHRIM

Or Association des hôteliers et restaurateurs de l'île Maurice. Founded in 1973, AHRIM brings together the majority of the island's hotels, numerous restaurants and affiliated members of the Guest House & Tourist Residence category - a section bringing together small, charming establishments with fewer than 60 rooms wishing to offer a more authentic form of tourism, closer to the locals. The AHRIM is actively involved in promoting the destination, acting as a link between the various sectors, undertaking actions linked to sustainable tourism, and so on.
