A 10-minute taxi ride from the city centre, this observation platform perched on a small hill is the highest point in the city. You enjoy a bird's eye view of Kota Kinabalu and the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park. The horrors of the Second World War are revealed by the sight of the concrete, glass and steel buildings that dot the city. But one also appreciates the jagged coastline and jungle patches that seem to resist urban development.
