A 10-minute cab ride from downtown, this observation platform perched on a small hill is the city's highest point. You can enjoy a bird's-eye view of Kota Kinabalu and the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park. The horrors of the Second World War can be seen in the concrete, glass and steel buildings that dot the city. But we also appreciate the jagged coastline and patches of jungle that seem to resist urban development.
