PROCLAMATION OF INDEPENDENCE MEMORIAL

In a 1912 mansion that was the very chic Malacca Club of the British, this curious building has a front building constituting the entrance and, on the sides, two small front buildings topped with two yellow bulbs. This museum is dedicated to the historical evolution of the country until its independence on August 31, 1957. It is indeed just in front of this building that Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman made the announcement on February 20, 1956 of the upcoming independence.
