BOEKHANDEL VACO

This bookshop and stationer's shop offers a wide selection of postcards, international press and books in English, particularly on Surinamese wildlife. Of course, most of the books are in Dutch, but a small selection is also in French. To encourage customers to return regularly, the store offers a weekly selection of books on special offer, what they call their "readiculous deals". The welcome is friendly and pleasant, and the place is lively.
