SHELL BEANS

This adorable beachside cafe, just down Beach Road, is the twin brother of Male's Shell Bean. You can opt for a seat outside, under a wall of aphorisms about happiness and work. A room with wooden benches also awaits you. The menu draws from both Western (burgers, pizzas and salads) and Asian (nasi goreng, kung pad, maki) repertoires, with a slight Maldivian touch for the grilled tuna. You can eat there at any time of the day, but also stop for a refreshing iced tea.
