ISAAC PIZARRO

This rough-hewn local guide is an avid bird watcher, especially of his majesty the harpy eagle. He offers hikes in the national park, from the most classic to the most adventurous. He can pick you up in Panama Ciudad, Yaviza, or El Real where he lives, and can take care of the permit and MiAmbiente arrangements for you. You will need to speak Spanish to negotiate with him but he knows some English. Be sure to ask him if you need to bring food and special equipment.
