Twenty minutes from Aguadulce, shortly after Playa El Salado, we arrive at El Sala'o, a fishing village. The place is often deserted during the week but picturesque when the men spread their nets. You can buy fresh fish and seafood here, or go to one of the typical restaurants along the road, where you can enjoy large shrimps for cheap (Reina del Mar and Mar Nathy in particular). During the festivities of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Virgen del Carmen) from July 8 to 16, you can attend spectacular processions at sea.
