The Bearded Man's wife is Victoria. The Bearded Man is Julien. They left La Rochelle for a long adventure in the Cantal. They wanted to offer a locavore cuisine, innovate with authentic products and a touch of tradition. The setting puts you in the mood, the smile too. As a result, their cuisine is a hit with the locals. It is a real mark of esteem. People come from all over for a business or family meal, for a Salers beef cooked in the Japanese way or a dessert with seasonal products.

A restaurant run by a very talented young chef, the dishes are modern classic, a fantastic foie gras served with citrus fruits, some veal melting in the mouth served with grilled vegetable and a very tasty tuna mayo. All products are locally sourced restaurant with 20 seaters so booking is mandatory to avoid disappointment, located in a hamlet on the edge of the A75 and St Flour.
At arrival a very warm and friendly welcome, in a pleasant renovated old auvergnat building. Menu starting from €37 at lunchtime, an extensive selection of wine and alcool from a local distillery. Personally a superb discovery worth a visit

Exellent moment partagé autour d'une table sympathique et sans chichis. La femme du barbu est de fort bon conseil (vin orange Okros super) et on rigole bien ! L'assiette est savamment goutue, bien travaillée par le chef bardu, avec des alliances surprenantes (laissez vous tenter par les couteaux au St Nectaire ! ).
Bref super travail par ce couple qui a de l'énergie à revendre.
