The Bearded Man's wife is Victoria. The Bearded Man is Julien. They left La Rochelle for a long adventure in the Cantal. They wanted to offer a locavore cuisine, innovate with authentic products and a touch of tradition. The setting puts you in the mood, the smile too. As a result, their cuisine is a hit with the locals. It is a real mark of esteem. People come from all over for a business or family meal, for a Salers beef cooked in the Japanese way or a dessert with seasonal products.

The food is creative and well-crafted, but I would recommend the restaurant to improve its hygiene standards to do justice to the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately, my family's experience was quite uncomfortable due to the large number of flies ????around. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, her response was disappointing: "I don’t help, sorry."
I wouldn't suggest visiting unless you're okay with sharing your meal with flies…
