In the San Francisco district, this pleasant municipal park was once a private golf course. In 1973, General Omar Torrijos converted it into a public park. With over 55 hectares of green space, it is the capital's largest urban park. Here you can jog (3.5 km of track), do zumba, work out, play soccer, baseball or tennis, take a dip in the swimming pool (closed on Mondays) or take a siesta in the shade of the tall trees... The site also boasts a large open-air stage for cultural events.
