Inexpensive, unpretentious hotel 300 m from the metro and a 5-minute walk from Cinta Costera, with 70 basic, clean rooms

Located 300 meters from the metro and a 5-minute walk from the Cinta Costera, an unpretentious and above all economical hotel with many practical services, with a staff used to foreign tourists. The 70 rooms are basic but clean. Transportation is free from the airport to the hotel if you stay at least 2 nights, from the hotel to the airport for any stay of 4 nights (US$ 15 if you stay more than 4 nights). Free daily transportation to Albrook Mall. The hotel has a parking lot for those traveling with their own vehicle. Cafeteria.

L'hôtel n'est pas trop mal pour le prix (40$ en déc. 2016 la nuit à deux, avec pdj.) sans être cependant folichons. Mais il est difficile de trouver mieux pour ce prix là à Panama City où tout est très cher. La chambre est correcte, mais l'on n'a toutefois pas envie d'y passer toutes ses vacances. La rue est assez bruyante, mais c'est le cas partout à Panama City. L'endroit n'est pas très folichon non plus, mais assez sûr, même le soir, car situé juste à côté de l'hôpital des enfants. L'on peut facilement se rendre à pied à la longue promenade du bord de la mer par une passerelle piétonne qui enjambe l'Av. Balboa.

Il y a quelques restaurants dans le quartier, mais rien d'extraordinaire. Le plus correcte accessible facilement à pieds, est le Café Balboa situé à deux quadras de là sur l'avenue Balboa qui longe le bord de mer.

from June 2nd to June 5th, 2009 4 nights. We reclaimed airport free for more than 2 nights.

Clean, good bedding but very noisy hotel (the raging red devils run very early...). The continental breakfast is very light. All complete (including a bread) are extra. Paradoxically, the restaurant is good, hearty and inexpensive. Price room 2: 40 or $45 according to the size of the bed.
