Events calendar Bamako

After two years of preparations, the Ministry of Handicrafts and Tourism of Mali organized the first International Tourism Fair in Bamako (Sitour) from 17 to 19 October 2008.

The event will take place at the Bamako International Conference Centre. It will collect travel agencies, hoteliers and receptive from the subregion. The Sitour intends to become one of the largest tourist market places for West Africa.

At the origin of this show, there is the will of Mali to give much greater visibility to all the tourist potential of the country and the subregion. The Sitour will offer local professionals a real promotional platform to present to the African public, and to the European T.O., the attractions of their products.

In February, the capital of the country lives in the rhythm of the percussion. Since 2004, musicians'troops and ballets from many African countries have been meeting to move Malians and foreigners. We come from Burkina Faso, Guinea, the Republic of Congo, Côte d'Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau to celebrate the percussions. Senegal, Benin and Niger are also often the party.
