You will discover the textile creations by Mariane Montaut, all of which are made on the principle of cotton dye called bogolan. It is an ancestral method of traditional dye taught by a master bamanan. Since 2000, Mariane has opened his workshop and carries out all woven and hand-dyed cotton parts: high quality furniture, decoration, objects and accessories. Unique and authentic pieces, between traditional and contemporary. 

A small shop next to the central market, where you can find bogolans, jewelry, batik… note that Ernest learns the ropes of the trade to street children (small necklaces, aluminium cars…). This is worth welcoming.

Made by women, the articles presented in this sign (trousers, bogolans, carpets…) are entirely designed in an artisanal way. An initiative of the CCAT (Cooperative for Artisanal cotton processing).

Bruno Badamié mastery wrought iron perfection! In his workshop, he made all types of wrought iron objects. It has built a room where it exposes various crafts made by craftsmen: Leather, objets or ebony, batik, table tablecloths… Quality! A visit is required!
