THE ANCIENT BATH HOUSE

These former thermal baths were discovered by Elias and Martina Shama-Sostar during the renovation of the store. The water that fed them was most likely from the source of Mary nearby. The site, which can be visited, contains vestiges suggesting that these thermal baths existed in the time of Christ. As the place is also commercial, it will be impossible for you not to go through the shop where handmade jewellery, scarves, embroidery and other handicrafts are sold.
