Petit Futé's opinion on ANJONY CASTLE
A fortress, built between the 15th and 18th centuries, intact, which combines architectural elegance and military efficiency. Certainly one of the most beautiful in France. This impressively vertical building is composed of a square keep flanked by four robust towers. You can admire tapestries from Aubusson and Flanders, and beautiful frescoes in the castle chapel. The administration and audience room, with its ribbed ceiling, completes the rich interior visit. With the parapet walk, you can admire the radiating oak roof structure.
