"When I first came to Casamance, I was overwhelmed by many questions: how does daily life unfold? what are the different functions of men and women? the education of children? the animist religion and its rites ... the work in the fields, fishing ... "

My numerous stays allowed me to complete the answers under the benevolence of the elders who initiated me more and more to the Diola culture.

This eco-museum was created to pay tribute to them, to show them my deep respect and my unfailing gratitude. The

project is motivated by the preservation of the Casamance cultural heritage and by the transmission of this cultural wealth to future generations and to tourists in search of authentic traditions
