STRAND ECOMUSEUM
The brainchild of French-Senegalese couple Marie and Paul Bassène, this eco-museum invites you to discover the Diola people and their traditions through objects collected from the local population. From the construction of the impluvium hut to seasonal activities and animist ceremonies, Diola culture will hold no secrets for you! In this large wooded area, children will be delighted to greet a few sulcata turtles and ostriches. The ecomuseum also offers a restaurant and bed & breakfast, with shared kitchen facilities. A great deal!
