He knows the area well and offers many excursions in the region: horse-drawn carriage rides to the palm groves of Diaglé, to Bambouglar (a village of fishermen and farmers) and on the shell hill of Bangaler or by dugout canoe to the Ile aux Oiseaux, among others.
