A very good address, in the middle of mangroves, coconut palms and some nice pirogues. The rooms are built on the model of Peul huts, impregnated with the warmth of the natural materials that make it up. They are very well maintained, magnificent and high ceilings, decorated with pretty coloured batiks, an open-air bathroom and a private terrace facing the mangroves. Food is excellent, plentiful and varied. Kayak, fishing or cart ride, many activities are included in the price of the stay. Swimming pool.

L'écolodge de Simal est un lieu enchanteur avec ses cases sérères, son environnement préservé avec de nombreux oiseaux et les zébus, les petits ânes et les chèvres qui circulent librement. Le matin, les jeunes du village viennent baigner leur chevaux et le soir les enfants se rafraichissent dans la lagune.
La majorité des personnes qui y travaillent sont des habitants du village. La formule en pension complète est très bien : des activités gratuites sont proposées tous les jours : pêche à la palengrote, balade en pirogue, découverte des villages environnants en charrette (case des tout-petits, jardin des femmes, lycée....), balade en 4x4 avec visite du marché de N'Dangane et des marais salants.
Une adresse idéale pour ceux qui veulent découvrir le Sénégal et ses habitants, loin du tourisme de la côte et où on peut faire de belles rencontres.
