Private collection of the widow of the painter Alberto Gironella. It shows 43 works carried out by the generation of Mexican painters after Mexican muralisme, known as the "Breaking Generation": Chavez Morado, Ramirez Camarena, María Izquierda. This group of painters is the one who represented Mexico at the Tokyo World Exposition in 1970. The museum is not located in Torreón, but in the city of Gómez Palacio, which is only a few kilometres away.
