Beautiful canyon located in the heart of the Parque Ecologico La Huasteca, with cliffs, several trails and roads
This superb canyon, which is located in the heart of the Parque Ecológico La Huasteca, has cliffs over 300 m high, the walls of which are dotted with prehispanic glyphs. There are several paths and roads to walk on, as well as nearly 180 climbing routes, but these are reserved for experienced climbers (Cueva de la Virgen in particular). The village of Santa Catarina to the north of the canyon is famous for its festival of the Virgin of San Juan de los Lagos, with dances and fireworks from August 10 to 15.

This canyon 16 miles east of Monterrey is remarkable for its high cliffs 300m and its park. The quartsic rock formations reminiscent of the national park of Paklenica Croatia is also famous for its sports climbing. You must be equipped to undertake climbings. On the road that leads to it, the houses are a real contrast between huts and real castles following one another. Beware the closure of the park is 18:00. The village of Santa Catarina north of Canyon is famous for its festival of the Virgin of San Juan de Los Lagos with dances and fireworks from August 10th to August 15th.
