A beautiful museum tracing the history of the state from pre-Columbian times to the post-revolutionary period in Colima
In this superb building dating from 1848, organized on two floors around an interior courtyard, this very beautiful museum retraces the history of the State from the pre-Columbian era to the post-revolutionary period. There is a beautiful reconstruction of a tumba de tiro (underground burial chamber), characteristic of Western civilizations. The museum also hosts a film club. A good place to start your discovery of the city.
