Aldea Xbatun is a restaurant run by a Mayan, Yucatecan family.here, good food and atmosphere come together in a special way: a local meal to share on one long table, where you can watch your tortillas being made and prepared... This restaurant, not fancy but very original, offers high-quality dishes with ancestral recipes and in-house creations. You can enjoy pumpkin seed and tomato dishes , roucou-marinated chicken and much more. For dessert, for example, you'll have home-made chocolate sweetened with honey... Aldea Xbatun also offers a cooking workshop in a rural community in the heart of nature. During this session, you can learn about theMayan cuisine inherited from their ancestors. Very rustic, but not without charm, accommodation is also available. Discover them for yourself!

We were looking for a Mayan experience near Valladolid and Chichen Itza, and we decided to try the lunch experience with Aldea which is only 10 mins away Valladolid and we were very happy with the experience! We arrived and we had the whole place for ourselves, we ate the best Mexican food we ate in our 10 days trip and the experience was simply amazing. I really recommend this experience to everyone, group of friends, family, young couples, children..it is a 10 points!! We were very happy with our lunch and experience!
