Sites in the surroundings of Sucre contain rock paintings, some of which date back to pre-Columbian times

Numerous rock paintings, some of which date back to pre-Columbian times, are found in the vicinity of Sucre. The villages hosting these sites are Patatoloyo, Taruca Wasy (25 km from Sucre), Incamachay (44 km), Pumamachay (46 km). It is the occasion of a beautiful walk in the mountain range surrounding the white city of Bolivia.
