This cemetery, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is the work of the architect Luis Nuñez del Prado
The inhabitants of the city are very proud of this cemetery. Inaugurated in 1892, although the first plans date back to 1790, it is the work of the architect Luis Nuñez del Prado. Listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2004, it is a pleasant place to visit. The ornaments, pine trees, flowers and the tombs themselves make it a quiet place where students find refuge to work. At the entrance, you can ask for an official guide who will tell you in detail about the lives of the main personalities buried there.

There to discover a typical cemetery of Bolivia, very different from those you know in Europe. Well-maintained and large enough to spend a good time here.
Beautiful cemetery with the high white and distinguished columns, decorated message " Hodie Mihi Cras; Tibi". Peaceful place and well maintained where several historical figures (left of the main path).
