IGLESIA DE SANTO DOMINGO

The church consists of three naves: the central nave is covered with a ribbed vault, and the two side naves are covered with vaults on pendentives. The transept of the church is covered with a Gothic-style cross vault. The imposing façade of Santo Domingo seems to belong to the early years of the seventeenth century. The whole church has a fortress-like appearance, an impression that is reinforced by the presence of pyramidal pinnacles on the walls. Santo Domingo has works of great artistic value, including a superb sculpture of the crucified Christ.
