AWAJ WARMY

Awaj Warmi means "women weavers" in Quechua. Here, they make clothes and accessories from alpaca wool using a variety of artisanal techniques. An avant-garde style and a range of natural and dyed colors distinguish these creations from the usual works found in tourist stores. The designs are inspired by traditional Andean clothing. You'll find coats, sweaters, ponchos, scarves, hats and plaids, as well as Andean-style accessories such as handbags and jewelry.
