Friendly hotel with heated en-suite rooms offering good value for money.
Utama is where most backpackers set down their backpacks. It's true that the prices are unbeatable, the location ultra-central, the welcome friendly, the bathrooms private, and the rooms distributed around a patio are heated from 6pm to 10pm, with wifi. But we found the address a little overpriced compared with other hostals. At the time of our visit, the rooms were dated, and the carpet and old sofa in one corner were of dubious hygiene, even if the sheets were clean. Choose your room carefully...
