In a Creole house with a green facade and low ceiling, on Avenida Libertad, at the entrance to the city, the restaurant Jalicar is a reference to Pedernales. The setting is unpretentious, you eat on plastic chairs, but the plants and red curtains are there to warm up the atmosphere. The cuisine is typically Caribbean, with an emphasis on seafood, and the service is friendly. During the week, the same menu is served every day. Good value for money.
